Well, I guess I thought they would be lighter because I asked someone on marketplace that was selling a set and they said 25 pounds so I had that stuck in my head. Not sure who makes them, but I will take a look at one and get back.

I had some new wheels put on today and after I got home, I personally weighed the wheels. They are quite a bit heavier than I expected them to be.

I confirmed the weight of the sport wheels today. They are a hefty 29lbs!!

I checked it out. It does give some specs, but not the weight.

Has anybody out there weighed the sport wheels? I’ve done a pretty extensive search and all I’m finding is a lot of guesstimates.

Hey, thanks a bunch for the info. I really don’t like the idea of introducing any drone but it’s an inexpensive and reversible mod to give a try. If I don’t like it, I’ll just swap it back.

I do appreciate it. I’m just hoping there is somebody here that has the resonated mid pipe and a muffler delete like this.

I would imagine that might be quieter than what I have now. I think it’s a good option for someone with a non-resonated mid pipe but I have the resonators.

Hey, thanks for the link. I read through the thread pretty good. I think going the m/t pipe route probably won’t work for me. Especially having the a/t. There were several mentions of some drone. I can’t find anybody there that has the resonated mid pipe with an actual muffler delete in the rear.

Are you noticing any drone or resonance inside the cabin? I’m afraid of doing away with the resonators in the mid pipe because they usually do a good job of stopping drone.

Yes, the a/t axle back can be found on Facebook marketplace or eBay very often. The M/T Muffler is massive and really quiets things down a lot.

Well, since switching out the mid pipe is such an easy and cheap option, I may just give it a try.

Anybody with an auto trans running a muffler delete with the factory resonated mid pipe? I’m wanting a bit more noise but I don’t want to introduce any annoying drone?

I agree, they all need to poke out a bit more. The front fitment would be great but the rear being tucked in a bit is a little bothersome. I could always run a spacer though. Just didn’t want to.

I agree, it’s definitely a waste a time taking it to the dealer for something like this. Unless there are a bunch of lights on the dash telling them what’s wrong, they will just send you on your way. It’s good that you got a documented though. Has the sound gotten louder or any worse?
