  1. What is in the automatic transmission coolers place on manual Z's?

Just curious as it appears to be prime cooler space and looks occupied by something on all the video's I've seen. Area circled below:
  2. Rainbow colored tires question

Its probably just a layer of mold release that just happens to be the right thickness to create a diffraction pattern. If it is mold release, it should come off with just dish soap, water and gentle scrubbing.
  3. Z Louvers (Zacustech) Installed

How is the rear visibility? any inside pics? They look sick.
  4. Looking for a specific under lip spoiler

How is the speedforme bar fitted to the bumper? Do you need to drill the stick grill?
  5. Thoughts on brakes

Try adjusting the nut between the steering wheel and the seat. Your friend is just pushing the pedal harder and activating his ABS. Yes, even cars on race tires can lock up the wheels on stock brakes. I've been on track in non-ABS cars with sticky ass rubber and believe me being able to lock up...
  6. How does this 2025 Bayside Blue have the Blue interior?

Why the @#@$% don't they allow the blue interior with the BLUE exterior or the White? Those were the two best color combinations for the blue interior, and from looking at used Z's the best selling combos for the blue interior. I'm not considering purchasing new because of this issue. I'm...
  7. Thoughts on brakes

No you're correct bigger brakes are for heat management not "stopping the car faster". Even a garbage set of stock drum brakes from the 80's has enough torque to lock the wheels up, so by definition you're limited by tires not brakes. Now that drum brake will fade like a mofo so it won't be able...
  8. Z Louvers (Zacustech) Installed

Fire, fits the Z really well.
  9. Nismo coilovers

Does anyone know spring rates for these? They honestly look like recolored KW v2's but KW only lists V3's for the new Z on their site...
  10. Nismo coilovers

The car is double wishbone up front, not McPherson strut. Coil-over is just coil-over shock packaging for the spring/shock in the front unlike the rear that is a divorced spring/shock multi-link.
  11. ENGINE OIL best viscosity?

Just a note, increasing the viscosity won't do much to raise the idle/low engine rpm oil pressure much. These engines have an oil pressure relief solenoid that vents oil pressure at low engine speeds for better gas mileage. I only know this because the q50/q60's share the same motor and the...
