Really looking at the price point. Most I'm willing to spend on a ST model is 45- 50K OTD. Above 50K and I will prob pick up a 997 Carrera S, G82 M4 or 2022 Supra maual (rumored).
Nah, granted I'm not buying the regular version of the car at release either. I'm looking for a fun street car, not a track spec car. I rather have leather seats etc we can always make more power in the after market.
I totally agree on the 6Gen camaro being underrated. I owned an 18 1LE for a couple of years. Best car I ever had, hands down. Thing handled like it was on rails and had enough get up and go to keep up with GT3's in the canyons. So upset I had to sell it.
At this point I'm almost over seeing the car in camo. It looks great, sounds great, we know it's going to be great. @Dan_Passe if you are watching, people want info and specs. Pretty close to pulling the trigger on a Z32 instead, although I rather not spend 30k for a 30 year old car.
466 with either awd/ Rwd would be a pretty sweet spot. I didn’t know the current GTR had that much horsepower. I’ll be honest never been a hardcore Nissan guy, but something about this new Z is it. Thanks for your input.
These are all amazing things we would love to see in any sports car, however to play devil's advocate, it looks like you want a GTR lol I would love for the nismo to clock in around 475-500hp mark. Although I'm not entirely sure I'll go the Nismo route.
I owned a first gen FRS in 2014. Fun car but after a few months it was underwhelming. It handles great but the lack of power is disappointing. Even out here in CA where you can find some nice twisty roads it still left a lot to be desired. I get what you mean, the anticipation for info on the...
I agree with you on price point to beat the supra, however i don't think we are going to get the Nismo at that price. The base seems like it will have enough performance to undercut the Supra at 45-50k but the lack of info and fuckery going on the other thread with the "director of com" is...
The Supra here cost around 55K brand new. If you buy that car here in CA your looking a little north of 60k with tax and registration. I checked the conversion to AUD and it’s about 77k?
Curious as to what some of our fellow members would want to see out of the Nismo? If the most expensive base car is around 45K. What are we getting for our hard earned 50-55K?
