Just to add to the confusion, check out the pre production Proto MT that we received here in Australia. Has the muffler from the Sport AND the resonators from the Performance AT.

Are you suggesting that the Sport trim in either transmission has the same muffler as the manual Performance trim? Auto vs manual (Performance trim)

Does the Performance trim actually have a different muffler or just the added speaker emulation?

It seems Japan only has red available with certain exterior colors and Australia has scrapped red altogether.

Very interested to hear what your dealer says. Communication from Nissan Australia on these little things would go a looong way in helping us feel like even slightly valued customers.

On a positive note, it does bring possible build combinations from 38 down to 20. Much better odds of the right car turning up!

Did anyone order the red upholstery? Going through the build options online it looks like it may have been pulled.

Yeah that's correct, Proto and Boulder here in Brisbane. Think I've finally snapped, Z fatigue has kicked in and excitement is quickly turning into frustration. Best I put my mind elsewhere until we actually hear something positive.

I know this has been mentioned/debated in our fb group a few times, but the sales manager did confirm that it is 100% accurate. Dealerships have not been notified of any delays whatsoever. There's internal correspondence (and media articles) stating that deliveries are scheduled to commence...

Sorry I didn't mean to direct that at you. I just find it so frustrating that dealerships are advertising "orders" and "preorders" all over the place when they can't place orders and have no idea what they'll get or when they'll receive it.

Dealerships haven't ordered anything! They've sent through reservation requests but are yet to receive any confirmation, allocation numbers or delivery timeframes. I feel that some dealers are splurting out nonsense.

Alright... I'm heading down to the dealership now... They MUST know something new.
