Just turn the car off, lock it and leave it. They turn off automatically if set to auto (I think you can set how long they stay on in the settings) The lights stay on for a while so you can see your way in the dark.

If you're looking for someone to install I can recommend "That dashcam guy" who can be found on facebook. He's done a couple of installs for me (including the Z) and is super tidy. He also comes to your place.

I think you're right, it's too similar to not be the same car. Just weird they'd swap out the exhaust. It's a good thing if it's the same car, means it is hopefully just a one off thing.

Yes, I'd be much more comfortable knowing it was something they did, but can't imagine they'd ever admit it. It's a bit of a coincidence that the only one to go up in flames is a highly modified one. If we heard about it happening to a stock one I'd be a lot more worried.

This is one reason I liked the HKS dual muffer. Although it's inconvenient to manually put the caps on and off to adjust the sound, at least it will last forever (unless you somehow lose the caps).

Did you get the super turbo or dual muffler version?

Not the door but I have noticed a minor rattle sometimes that seems to come from behind the dash and another one from around the rear vision mirror occasionally. It wouldnt be noticeable if the radio was on but most of the time I drive around in silence like a psychopath.
