At this point the deposit only guarantees me the ability to be the first one (at this dealer) to actually place a factory order. No details on timing yet, or price ?
Ugh, why is it over 200lbs heavier than the Supra 3.0? Come on Nissan ?
2023 Performance AT - 3602lbs
2022 Supra 3.0 - 3400lbs
Comparing apples to apples, I assume when the '23 Supra 3.0 MT comes out it will be lighter than the AT.
If this (https://www.motor1.com/news/563715/2023-nizzan-z-weight-order-guide/) is true then it looks like curb weight went from 3333lbs to 3486lbs in base trim, so its gained 153lbs. I was assuming the bulk of that was coming from the TT setup.
I'd be shocked if it had corner entry or mid corner overseer, this thing will likely have a ton of weight over the nose with the big TT engine and its associated cooling. I'm willing to bet it'll push a fair bit in factory form, hence why I'm praying there is some decent adjustability in the...

@Dan_Passe Thank you for taking the time to provide answers to all of these questions, it's much appreciated.
Would it be possible to get a further breakdown of how exactly the front suspension geometry was changed? From the Nissan Press Kit "The front double-wishbone aluminum suspension...
My local dealership (the one that moves the most vette's) has over 200 people on the list for a base C8 and over 60 people on the list for a Z06. It's absolute chaos trying to get a C8.
As the 21' Supra and the M2 are in BS the new Z will almost certainly end up in there as well. How competitive it will be remains to be seen but I suspect that how much camber adjustment will be available from the factory (if any) will have an impact on that.
The GM at my dealer told me 140 coming to Canada in total for 2023 MY. However as there are ~200 Nissan dealerships in Canada that would imply less than 1 per dealer, I really hope he was confusing Proto vs. Sport/Performance.

$40K USD does not equal $48K CAD with Nissan's pricing structure, it's not a simple Forex.
