Sounds like a bast! That's event sounds so cool. I might have to look into doing something similar, that is such an awesome idea. Though would have to wonder if it would look silly on a non-decal'd race car. Maybe if I got the color of the handle wrap on the decal to match my rosewood like they...
Put over 200 miles on it this past weekend. Just started driving and didn't want to stop.
Hit a new top speed in it too
Washed it at a local wash when I was heading home and chatted with some guy who hadn't seen one yet. He REALLY liked it. Might see another one on the road in my area soon.
Mine came with tri-fold rivets. Got my Z at a dealer on a Friday evening and they said they could not install that stuff till Monday. So I did it myself that weekend. Just needed a rivet gun.
Yeah lowering it should for sure.
I also am no expert but I don't see how an air-dam in front of the wheels makes it more aerodynamic. They aren't shaped like they would help but again, not an expert.
I would think it would be a good thing since there are no brake vents in the front of the Z...
Not bad, looks like it will help for your sandy situation.
I get why the foot rest is covered because they need to have a lip all the way around so you can dump the junk out right? If there was a lip just at the bottom then your heel would just pop back a bit I guess? I am no floor mat engineer...
Are you talking about these?
Mine actually came not installed on my Z and I installed them myself. I bought my car late in the evening on a Friday and they said to come back on Monday to have these (and the front chin spoiler) installed.
Anyways, I did it myself. They are just simple...
Wider / bigger rear for RWD cars is usually for more grip. Having smaller / skinnier up front is looks (if wheel is actually smaller), less expensive to replace, and less weight as it is not needed to have as big or wide of tires up front for the performance. In other words less resistance and...
The white + Blue looks really good!
I thought the same thing about the manual but found out there is a little compartment you can pull open on the wall behind the passenger seat above the cubby and it slides right in it.
That's a shame.
They were $25 (US) a piece so I paid $100 at the dealer.
When I was there the parts guy said it was funny because the normal "Nissan" caps they sell, that come standard on the Z and other Nissan vehicles, are $100 a piece.
Well to my surprise the Nissan dealer called me and said the caps were in today! So... installed!
Yup easy pop on, pop off. The outer side of the "Nissan" cap is kind of flimsy so I was able to get a screwdriver under it pretty easy. Z caps popped right in there no problem.
