I keep bouncing between normal and enhanced... enhanced was nice for the road trip giving more screen space for my route and trip data and if you are doing a route you get a full color map on the dash it's pretty darn nice. Probably 90% of the time though I drive in normal mode.
Yup! Perfectly normal. I thought the same thing you did but realized it's to prevent the gas handle from hitting the car at all. It kind of "floats" there when stuck in. It does seem to hit a wall as you say and doesn't seem to go in as deep as other cars but it's by design with how the fuel...
Did a 550 mile day trip yesterday. Z just glided down the interstate both ways. That MPG is impressive.
And yeah, it was effing hot yesterday. Hit 105 at one point.
Just a couple numbers off from a nice average speed and time of day too ?
Great story and sounds like a fantastic trip. I cannot wait to take my Z on a road trip. Hopefully soon. I don't want to say how fast I have got my Z up to in case the cops are reading this ? but yeah, she does it real fast.
Good read and great pix thanks.
I didn't know there was an orange for the standard colors of the new Z. On the nissan website (USA) under build and price for Sport and Performance the only colors they list are Ikazuchi Yellow, Passion Red, Seiran Blue and Rosewood (outside of black, white and gray). I really like the Monarch...
I don't know. I don't feel bad for people who pay over MSRP just so they can say they are the first to have the shiny new thing or not having the foresight to know that paying THAT much over MSRP will look silly in a year or two. Same thing happens with other things too like video game systems...
I paid less than MSRP for the exact Z spec / color I wanted. Feel pretty darn fortunate and I plan on keeping it for a very long time. I have yet to see another one for sale (2024 Performance Rosewood) within 500 miles of where I live.
Interesting that he says Gun Metallic is the cheapest one...
Got my Z back at the end of May and this past weekend was the first time I hand washed it. Looks absolutely stunning after the hand-wash. however on the hood I noticed a mark that I could not get off so it must be under the clear-coat I guess. Its super smooth in that spot - if I closed my eyes...
It was cheap. got it at Walgreens for $5
Has a stamp on the bottom of it though that says "KiNSMART"
Just looked them up and here is their site:

Here is the Z:

I got another Z!
It's a red 2023 Fairlady Z Customized Edition - right hand drive!
.....Die cast ?
I wish it were really in my driveway and bigger than the size of my fist - but it is still pretty.
You would probably better off with a more floaty, somewhat bigger, luxury sports car with higher ground-clearance. Not a whole lot you can do with sports cars that have low ground clearance. Can you make it better? Sure - but it's still going to ride "rougher" than a touring car.
What kind of a monster leaves the mirror select knob toggled to one side or the other!? ?
I am just kidding around @Mud but this picture is messing with my OCD because of that.
And yes, us (North?) Americans are jealous of your power folding mirrors. I wonder why it is not standard here.
