This is a valid point. I had a 2017 370z Nismo that I had a total loss on from the insurance company about a year ago, and even as a total loss I still made over $2500.00 on the car, even though it was an insurance payout.

It's good to know that the 9 speed is handling the extra power. Doesn't AMS have a drag Z thats running crazy power with the 9 speed. I think that car has over 850hp. I think they are hitting high 8's in the quarter mile.

I wonder what the limit would be as far as torque is concerned for the 9 speed? I know the VR30 doesn't like much over 600 torque for the engine itself, but not sure what the 9 speed could be pushed safely...

How much power do you think it's putting to the ground now after the tune? Did you have it tuned on site or virtually?

I've got an Everest white pearl Nismo. Luckily, this year's convention is only about 25 minutes from my town in Spring Hill TN. The main headquarters is going to be actually in Franklin TN, about 25 minutes south of Nashville.

If Nissan puts the VR 3.5 in the new Nismo and it's over 450 HP I might consider trading in my 2024. But just dropping in the 6 speed isn't enough for me to make the switch. Hopefully, the 3.5 doesn't have some of the flaws the the VR30 has.

I'm not sure offering a manual in the Nismo and a future Q50 is going to satisfy the customer base completely. The car journalists will find something else to not like about these future models. Plus, with the manual Nismo, the pricing will be back at MSRP or above, which no one will be willing...

What do you think caused limp mode? Overall heat in general. Also, what was your fluid temps, specifically, oil?
