You do realize that all the items you mentioned (carbon fiber drive shaft, rays forged wheels, aluminum control arms, etc) were already on the 370Z which had a starting MSRP of <$35K right?
You can't pay too much attention to Lightning Lap data unfortunately, in the C&D Lightning Lap the Mustang PP2 is a second faster than the SS 1LE, however it comes from the factory on Sport Cup 2's, which is a very aggressive track tire. When Throttle House put the 1LE on Sport Cup 2's instead...
Yah the visibility leaves something to be desired, but dynamically the car is incredible. Throwing some parts out of the parts bin seems like an easy way to give the car a little refresh.
Really want a C8 w/ Z51 Pkg. just not willing to pay $20-30K over sticker for one. If the Z can't get enough front camber I'll likely cancel my order and grab a 2022 Supra 3.0 instead.
After a few seasons of autocross and track days in my 17' SS 1LE it's time for a change, as fantastic as that...

Here's one for $63K....
None the less I would never cross shop these cars, especially seeing as my daily is a 340i.
I was simply pointing out, in response to the previous poster that if the Z gets...
Is that a Nissan thing? Because if not the Toyota dealers certainly must have missed that memo :D

If it's going to be $60K CAD for a Z Performance, I'm cancelling my order and buying a Supra 3.0 :D. $60K CAD puts it in line with a BMW M 240i.
In my opinion the Performance spec needs to undercut the Supra 3.0 by at least $10KUSD (or $15K+ CAD), that car has an active diff, adaptive...
The guys that I know that autocross their Z's can't seem to get any camber (-1.4ish degrees) at most. Double wishbone has a better camber curve than a McStrut yes but that doesn't necessarily mean it has the necessary factory adjustment to dial in a sufficient amount of static negative camber.
Order went in last weekend, got my confirmation email yesterday :)
Blurred out my name and my Nissan dealers info in case they weren't supposed to get the order into the que before today :D
Thanks trackratZ, I missed that one.
I guess just the amount of front camber adjustment is what I'd really like to know. The previous cars could hardly get any negative camber up front, such a shame.
Are there any additional details on the suspension? Specifically in the front, rumours are different pick up points but what else has changed? Shock valving, spring rates, ride height, geometry? Has the lack of camber adjustment in the front been addressed from the previous gen cars?
