  1. Nissan goes back to the future to electrify 1960s Silvia

No thank you. I love my smelly, noisy, rattly & poor riding RPS13 just the way it is. That sort of perfection cannot be improved upon.
  2. Hands Up all the Aussies

Supposedly built second week of July waiting for a boat......waiting.....
  3. Hands Up all the Aussies

I like these and looking to do the same and also the external ground lighting. Did you have to get an additional connector or was it a simple plug and play?
  4. Hands Up all the Aussies

Had word from the dealer that the vehicle they ordered for me has been built. Now they just have to get it on a ship.
  5. Hands Up all the Aussies

I was told (verbally) this as well. The dealer was a multi franchise and wanted to point out there were other brands where they were unable to honour the price if there was an increase. I will certainly be hitting my dealer up for the reduction if eligible.
  6. Hands Up all the Aussies

Just an FYI on extending warranty on BMWs, my experience anyway. I enquired with my selling BMW dealer about extending the factory warranty on my M240i in 2019. I was told that BMW did not offer extended factory warranty and could only offer an insurance policy type arrangement that cost $5K for...
  7. Hands Up all the Aussies

When I ordered, the discussion I had with the dealer gave me the impression that Nissan didn't necessarily manufacture to order. The dealer gets notified an order has been accepted when they've forecast manufacture of a vehicle with the same spec. How it is then allocated probably only Nissan...
  8. BMW recalls Supra (again)... Why didn't you by the Supra instead of the Z?

I had an F22 M240 a few years back, was a great car and exterior aside, I'm in no hurry to revisit the similarities in the Supra so went with a manual Z.
  9. Hands Up all the Aussies

I have also heard from the dealer today. An SMS stating Nissan had my order. I'm not sure what this means, more info would be provided in about week.
  10. Hands Up all the Aussies

The Bucketts Way was pretty good, but when I last checked it out 18 months ago it was badly pot-holed. It can get a bit busy during holiday periods so choose your timing wisely
  11. Nissan Z SUV ??? (Fairlady X)

    That's it I'm outta here.
  12. Hands Up all the Aussies

As a current owner of an S550 Mustang I don't think you would be disappointed. Typical Ford QA but I don't have any rattles or squeaks and only had one minor issue in 2.5 years with the rain sensor replaced under warranty during a routine service. It's a little more "in your face" than the Z...
  13. Keep It Reet: Worlds First Midnight Purple Nissan Z

OK, I'm fairly certain this is the same colour I was considering wrapping my 180SX kouki. I took an A5 midnight purple swatch/sample (LP2) with me to compare when I went to the company that was doing the wrap. The vinyl wrap was a lighter shade than Midnight Purple, so much so I didn't go ahead...
  14. Official Z Wrap thread!

  15. Hands Up all the Aussies

Hi All, Recently joined the queue after ordering a Z earlier in the week. I'm a big fan of Nissan's Midnight Purple colour, and I thought the new Z would have been the perfect choice to reintroduce this so in its absence I went with Rosewood and 6 speed manual. Local dealer had a black auto...
