Mr. COO - Z fans also wanted a $35k base price tag, can we get that too??? Please show this thing in a different color tonight or multiple. That proto Z color was hard to appreciate on my tv.

I agree. But if this is more of QA session "after hours" and not an official press release, why not? This is what my local Toyota dealership said the upcoming Z would be (cuz they're in the position to make such statements lol). So I'm sure many competitors/people may say the same. Just an idea...

What response does Nissan have for all those saying this new Z is just a reskinned 370Z? (I'm sure most details about the new car will answer that during the debut) But curious to hear what an official response to this comment would be.

True, by German/BMW standards it is on the lower price end. BMW got the Win out of this partnership. They got 2 entire cars out of this project (Z4 / 2 series coupe) including an upcoming M2. Plus, they got to choose what internal parts Toyota could use on their car.

The car's original design was meant to be built on a Lexus LC500 platform or something similar. Instead, they squished the design into a Z4 chassis, built it with all BMW parts, did not offer a manual, and IMO priced it too high for what you get = an expensive BMW with issues and recalls. The...

^ I agree. So long as they don't spend crazy money on marketing like Toyota did with the "A90", I prefer Nissan spend those dollars on the quality/performance of the vehicle. Although I'm hoping the production model shown is different from the proto color we've seen. That teaser is worrisome.

Nice Job! So much better looking than the yellow they decided to reveal the car with. I feel like the white or grey would've shown more of the body lines/design that was hard to see with the yellow during the live stream.
