    You've never seen a 370Z before? LOL
  2. Complaint about the Z release

You obviously are not an engineer. Totally changing their production process is incredibly complex and would take time to ramp up and get the bugs out. Also, the Z is not Priority 1 at Nissan. The Ariya is, and that vehicle is made at Tochigi as well. The Ariya won't be in the US until late this...
  3. What will stop you from owning the new Z?

I'm waiting around two years before I buy a Z to join alongside my 370, which I am keeping. Some of the posters on here don't seem to understand almost every vehicle is being marked up and that's the way it's going to be for a long time.
  4. What will stop you from owning the new Z?

Z06's will be going for $150K- some buyers will simply flip them after they get the car.
  5. What will stop you from owning the new Z?

I'm 6'3" and fit in my 370Z comfortably enough. It's not a luxury car, but I can drive it for hours on end without getting uncomfortable. I've driven it all over the country. If I was one inch taller, I might feel differently.
  6. Complaint about the Z release

Nissan recently spent $300 million totally changing the production process at Tochigi (way more robots), where the Z is made, and that's probably why it's going to be a slow drip for deliveries for awhile, along with the chip shortage, which isn't going away any time soon either. Fit and finish...
  7. Will the Z’s weight matter to you? / How the Z's weight stack up to the competition

I own a 370Z with the Nismo 19" 5-spoke wheels, and to me the car doesn't feel heavy at all- if anything too light, LOL. I knew the weight had to go up over the 370Z- the twin turbo engine weighs more, more sound deadening, more safety features added. There isn't much they can do to cut weight...
  8. Live exterior/interior look @ 2023 Nissan Z by the guys from The Straight Pipes @Yorkdale

Dual climate is a waste in a two seater. A change would have required a full redesign of the A/C system. I would bet the climate system is totally interchangeable with the 370Z. Prop rods are lighter and even the GT-R has a prop rod.
  9. US Nissan Dealerships

The Z will be a slow rollout because Nissan is doing a huge renovation to the Tochigi factory where the Z is made- a total revamp of how they do their production line. The chip shortage isn't helping either.
  10. US Nissan Dealerships

Have you tried DeLand Nissan in DeLand (a little ways north of Orlando)? They are one of the better dealers around, and have sold a lot of GT-R's over the years. That's where I will likely be buying my Z a couple years from now to join alongside my current 370Z.
  11. 2023 Z Colors Stock Images from Nissan Canada

I'm going to get a blue Z a couple years from now, but the Passion Red is tempting. Passion Red looked awesome on the 370Z (it was offered 2018-2020) and it was pretty rare.
  12. Next Nissan Z Will Have Blue Interior Option Like the Original 240Z

Yes, it's missing the top soft touch material covering. Look at how much the tweeter grill is above the dash. These cars are pre-production runs to get the assembly line set up for production, where fitment and issues are worked out. I would love to see the Z offered in the light blue color...
  13. Next Nissan Z Will Have Blue Interior Option Like the Original 240Z

Nissan read my mind! Just what I wanted. Hope this makes it to production!
  14. 2022 Nissan Z Details: MSRP pricing, packages, power (hp), weight, transmission + more

The current VR38 is hand-built. Hard to imagine they would go through the trouble of building an assembly line just for an engine on one single model. It would drive up the cost of the Nismo too much as well.
  15. Production Z Spotted in Gray and Silver! – Pics & Videos

That little circle beside the Nissan emblem would probably be the push button to open/lock the hatch. The camera will probably be lower where the license plate would be.
  16. 2022 400Z Goes On Sale Spring 2021!

They will start showing up in US dealers in February of next year. Production on the assembly line starts January 3rd.
  17. 2022 Nissan Z Details: MSRP pricing, packages, power (hp), weight, transmission + more

I hope it does as well, but it's not a deal breaker if it doesn't. The instrument cluster is fixed now (doesn't move along with the tilt of the wheel like it does on the 370Z), so it might make it easier to add a telescoping function????
  18. 2022 Nissan Z Details: MSRP pricing, packages, power (hp), weight, transmission + more

All of this sounds realistic. I understand the Nismo is going to be all-wheel drive. Essentially a baby GT-R. When the GT-R was released, it had 480hp (now it's 565), and the Nismo will be close to that. I understand it was going to be automatic-only, but Nissan got hounded to offer the Nismo...
