Nah, I already know about the traction button rattle, it’s not that. This is coming from the rear after installing the coilovers. Only happens at low speeds, and it’s definitely not in the dash or door. I’ll probably just tear it back apart and recheck torque.
Bolted on Z1  S‑Pro coilovers, front subframe brace, and hood struts. Height tweak on the coils was a chore and I’ve still got a faint rear‑driver side rattle to track down, but the chassis feels miles tighter, totally worth it.
Man, if a JDM or vintage badge makes people talk, let ’em. If you’re good with yourself and your wife, who cares what some guy at the gas station thinks? You don’t need a sociology breakdown to throw on a Fairlady emblem. At the end of the day, it’s up to you to decide what you want to rep...
I went with the 7000TLX since I also have a truck and a WRX. Wanted something that could handle everything. After measuring carefully, the Z is a tight fit on it, but it works with a couple of inches to spare.
I really like it. Super convenient for oil changes, suspension work, and tire swaps. Way faster and more stable than using jack stands, and it stores easily when not in use. Definitely one of the better garage upgrades I’ve made.
Just finished up a couple mods this weekend. Installed Z1 front and rear sway bars and also did an oil change to make the switch to 5W-30 now that I’m tuned.
The sway bars made a huge difference. Body roll is way more controlled now, especially in corners and quick transitions. The car feels...
I do my own maintenance, but if I took it to the dealer, I’d just unplug the ECUTEK module. You don’t need it connected for the tune to run since the map is saved directly to the ECU.
Wanted to chime in and share my experience for anyone considering the Remark axleback setup or debating resonated vs. non-resonated.
I started last year by removing the muffler and installing the Remark axleback. It sounded great at first with an aggressive and deep tone, but the interior noise...
Appreciate all the perspectives here. Just to circle back to the original question, this thread was about real-world experiences with the ECUTEK tune from Z1, not a comparison thread or a sales channel. It’s important to share accurate info for anyone trying to make a smart decision.
Stillen’s...
I’ve been running the ECUTEK tune from Z1 on my Z for a couple of weeks now and can give you a straight answer. Install is simple enough to do at home. You just need a cellphone and a little patience. Z1 gives you a Stage 1 map that’s meant for common bolt-ons, and overall it’s been solid...
https://www.z1motorsports.com/z1-products/z1-motorsports/z1-2023-nissan-heavy-duty-hatch-poppers-p-38638.html
If you want to avoid the stress of dealing with the dealer, these Z1 heavy duty poppers will solve the problem. The hatch seems a bit too heavy for the stock poppers. These solved the...
I installed mine last week. It was a bit of a pain but overall not to crazy. I would recommend adding the gaskets, you will still have a lot of the sound but intake temps will stay cooler.
Any suggestions on what to use to remove paint from the K&N logos?
I have a Garmin Dashcam Mini 2 with this Dongar adapter and use the power from the homelink rearview mirror. Clean and simple install. https://dongar.tech/products/10pin-type-a
