  1. New downpipes - Heat protection?

Update us with some sounds clips as well! Hoping all for the best.
  2. Road Atlanta Post Weekend Report

Are you still using the OEM filter? Or the Nismo/GTR filter for the engine? Super glad to see the Nismo can handle the Heat and track torture!
  3. Road Atlanta Post Weekend Report

How is the differential in handling that heat? Do you use any other fluid? Also how's the transmission holding up; especially under constant hard driving, is there any extra torque mitigation?
  4. Road Atlanta Post Weekend Report

there was a stealth grey Nismo a couple of months ago listed with 24k miles, but I'm glad you rip around your little demon; Nissan really knows how to make a nismo.
  5. 2026 Midnight Purple Z32 Heritage Edition specs leak

I'm a serious inquirer how may I contact you for this? in advance I'd like a 6 speed manual variant.
  6. New downpipes - Heat protection?

Heat wrapping is extremely efficient especially for downpipes, naked would be at most a immediate "no" as they create a lot of heat.
  7. Stillen Competition Exhaust on a Sport Nissan Z (don't worry it's no longer an open LSD)

Yes, I’ve been looking into downpipes; but the exhaust is really good- it takes some time getting used too, but it’s all there. The sound is really exotic almost, and down the line lower downpipes or even full will make it so so much better. Again stock Downpipes is my current setup
  8. Stillen Competition Exhaust on a Sport Nissan Z (don't worry it's no longer an open LSD)

it was quite the annoying install for an exhaust, I wouldn't recommend doing it on the hard floor; but you gotta do what you gotta do.
  9. Stillen Comp

I have the same exhaust but I wonder if it sounds different on the automatic, if you can add some sound clips I'd be much delighted!
  10. Borla S-type Cat-back exhaust system ordered

Nice upgrade! Do you have any sound clips by any chance?
  11. Bolt Ons Z Performance Metrics and Comparisons

I'd assume that since he's running power much higher than stock and a significantly altered power band, that the automatic is almost double the speed of the manual.
  12. Bolt Ons Z Performance Metrics and Comparisons

Very nice fast Z you've got there, that mustang was trying his best but I suppose that turbo's are better top end than a supercharger; despite the Z's turbos being small it was surprising how almost always whenever you shifted into the next gear you pulled harder.
  13. Whine from drivetrain (high pitch)

If your car is manual then it's normal. Gear lash is common, it's fine, it's not bad.
  14. New 2024 Nismo Z.

I can't quite remember what caught my eyes, the looks, the heritage, maybe it's spartan sport coupe style; the sleek curves and beautifully accentuated homage, maybe it was just the japanese coupe that was there at the right time. Regardless of what it was I can see that many agree and...
  15. Nismo Z Axle back exhaust

I have a video of the Competition Series which was the thread I made a couple of days ago, I cannot speak on behalf of the Street Series.
  16. Stillen Competition Exhaust on a Sport Nissan Z (don't worry it's no longer an open LSD)

It's tone is definitely highlighted quite some, though recently I've been thinking of getting some Resonators but I'm mixed on it; if I ever go the LDP route I would for sure put those resonators so I can have a sound with more tone.
  17. Anyone changing out the headlights to the JDM spec?

Compared to my Sport, the Nismo has almost "smoked" tail lights. They are darker but both my Z's are 2024.
  18. Tall person opinions on 2025 Z premium seats needed

6'1 and I have a buddy who's 6'4-slim, the Z has a lot of leg room and my back doesn't hurt from longer drives; though I especially recommend playing with the seat control setting that controls how deep your back sits, I prefer to have an almost laying down sort of posture but even then head...
  19. Looking for Feedback on the AT in the New Z

If you loved the G35's the Z's will sure be pleasant, it's really not about manual vs auto as much as it is just a purists view vs someone who needs something more ideal. The 9 speed isn't tiring and in manual mode the gearing doesn't feel like a 9 speeds. Go ahead and enjoy that car...
