  1. Are you trading in to get the Z?

Was gonna sell mine for one but now idk. Circumstances changed and I may be able to buy one outright. That said it'll still be after the markup is gone or I find a used example that way someone else deals with the mark up and immediate value drop when you drive it off the lot. So maybe a year...
  2. Nissan Z vs Q60

i second the motion on waiting a bit. these guys helped talk me down too. the new z will be marked up way higher than its worth. either one would be a huge jump in power for you but in if you plan on really pushing the car, the infiniti is gonna feel heavy as heck. i had a g37s and it sounded...
  3. Which color Z interior are you getting?

That red is my choice. It's been a long time since I had a loud color car, with a bright interior. so I think it would be fun. I hear bad things about red though, not just Nissan but cars in general. Something like red fades the quickest. I was always told that. That goes for interior or exterior.
  4. What purpose will your Z serve?

IF I get one it'll be driven maybe once a week, but mostly used for track duty. give my dorito a break for a bit. Definitely wont be on the first wave of these cars though. On the advice around here, it'd be smart to wait til the prices come down. maybe a year or so.
  5. Post your track pics....

love the 3 wheel cornering in this picture lol
  6. Post your track pics....

While not quite as grand as the pictures trackrat has since his are actually on a track, these are just some auto x pics taken. Parking lots and go cart courses. Last picture is from my last event. Put me down for the rest of the year due to parts being hard to find.
  7. Is Nissan really serious about improving the Z's handling?

now this is the kind of of talking i'm here for lol track talk. i love reading through eveyone's thoughts on the matter. i have every intention of tracking the car so ill want to know as much as i can before hand. and threads like these are awseome. keep it up guys. unfortunately, i haven't...
  8. A Legend Returns: New Acura Integra Coming for a New Generation

yup your absolutely correct. Lots of older cars that were previously seen as worth about as much as a used pencil were crushed.
  9. A Legend Returns: New Acura Integra Coming for a New Generation

if nothing else , the disappointment with this iteration might drive values up on the old ones. it got me remembering my old one and got me looking at buying one up again. if that is the same with other people, then demand will go up on em.
  10. A Legend Returns: New Acura Integra Coming for a New Generation

I count this as another win for the Z. Another nostalgic jdm nameplate that missed the mark. However this really makes miss my old teggy.
  11. A Legend Returns: New Acura Integra Coming for a New Generation

Saw the prototype and immediately thought of the cross tour thing Honda made. Then saw this on Facebook and just have to share it ??
  12. The car(s) you wish you had back?

May sound odd for some but I really miss my 96 integra. I beat the ever lovin dog poo outta that car and it never once gave up on me. Sold it for 1k with a little over 300k on the poor thing. Shoulda kept it and put another 200k on it.
  13. Let's talk about weight

so about the weight, i completely forgot about this one that at sema awhile back, funny now reading about it from car and driver and motortrend. it has the weight at 3428. granted this is on a 370z with an engine swap, BUUUUT it was done by nissan so themselves so maybe this will be close to the...
  14. FD RX7 vs Z: There can only be one.

Ok so the general consensus is that I’d be an idiot to let go of the 7 for the Z lol but if I just had to, at least wait till they have been out a year or so and check prices, official specs, track times, etc. I think that’s a very good solution. Just be patient and see where the market is...
  15. FD RX7 vs Z: There can only be one.

MzGa that’s another thing. I’m not sure how bad dealer markup will be. I work for Nissan so my employee discount could help mitigate it a bit but I feel like it could possibly get ridiculous. Looking at you C8. Seeing how much the Z drops after driving it off the lot will affect my decision too...
  16. FD RX7 vs Z: There can only be one.

Like trackrat said I I really want to test drive or ride with someone on the track in one. That’s one of my main concerns. Will it be competitive and hold up well in hot conditions and such. From a performance aspect I feel like it should do good. It’s has better lsd type than I do currently...
  17. FD RX7 vs Z: There can only be one.

Wow I really figured the opinions on here would biased towards the Z like the rx7 forum was biased towards the 7. I borrowed money against it for a down payment on the house we bought so that’s why I can’t have both it and Z. I don’t make that much money lol. As SS’s previous reply said, this...
  18. FD RX7 vs Z: There can only be one.

That’s not a bad thought. Maybe give it time to see how they are on the track too. The Z would be replacing the 7 as my auto x and track car so I’m really hoping they live up to my expectations. On that note, the miatas are some of the absolute funnest cars ever. I haven’t owned one but I’ve...
  19. FD RX7 vs Z: There can only be one.

Ok as the title suggests, I can only afford one. I currently have a 1993 Mazda rx7 modded all to heck and very fun. I’m on the fence right now as to whether or not sell it and buy this new Z when it comes out. I’ve had the 7 for almost 7 years now. So sentimental value has settled in pretty...
