Today both key fob appeared to fail. Symtoms were no button on the fobs would work. Car would not start (No key detected error). After a bunch of reading on line the culprit appears likely to be LF antenna circuit. The car will start if either fob is pressed against the start button for a...
No, I can read just fine thank you. For clarity I never said that they tested on 93.
You simply didn't understand the point that I was making. Stillen states increased numbers over stock of 70bhp and 86 wtq, all on 91 octane. Including the base run.
My point was that switching to 93 octane...
A lot depends on the octane rating of your gas. On 91 you really shouldn't go past map 3 or maybe 4 but you still get a noticeable improvement. On 93 you can run any map as long as you watch your temperatures. 93 on map 5 is significantly quicker in my experience. I haven't really used map 7...
It is the Greddy. I was all set to purchase the Nismo version from a salvage yard when I came across this. After comparing side by side pictures I chose this one.
Those are Nismo flares and are ridiculously expensive from the dealer. I got mine from salvage yards and ebay. Unless you are referring to the splash guards. Those came from the dealer.
My understanding, and I may be wrong, is that the downpipes and specifically the lower downpipes, is the bottleneck. So if that is true an axlelback or catback by itself won't do much if anything for performance. Think of it this way, if you have a 1/2 inch water hose connected to your water tap...
I can only get 91 as well but I live close to the border with Maine where 93 is available and it is very noticeable. It has to be straight 93 ( not diluted with 91) but when it is, well there is a reason that I will travel 60 miles to get a tank full.:D
I'm jealous. If you want an idea what 93 does for you, check out the video on YouTube where they ran off the Nismo against a Supra and a Mach 1. The first time on 91 and the second on 93.
