saw an orange heritage on Tuesday and a black nismo today on my way to work. honked at the guy in the heritage but he sped off, probably didn't see me. 🤷♂️
I think the current bumper, with that same thin body color line going across it, would have been the best of both looks.
also how hard is it to make a slightly larger z badge for the nismo? seriously that looks like ass
I've read a little bit about this recently. my thought process behind this in normal mode the transmission prioritizes comfort and slips between gears, which you know increases heat and wear. With a firm shift like we see in sport mode that doesn't happen.
I wonder if anyone can weigh in on this. I know coming from a mustang with an aod that installing a shift kit with longer and firmer shifts is said to extend the life of the transmission. so my question is does sport mode also improve the transmission life vs normal mode?
are the SPL arms only available with the metal spherical bushings? since my car doesn't see the track I'd rather have nice comfortable rubber bushings, especially since lowering the car is already going to make the ride harsher.
I realize this thread is a year old but I have a question. I currently have 20mm spacers on the car and I want to lower it with some eibach springs which are around 1.2 inch drop. will my alignment shop be able to get everything dialed in proper or do I need adjustable upper control arms?
way more expensive than a catch can but might fix the issue completely

I also use FLAC. is their actually a perceivable difference? yes, but it's not in sound quality but the sound stage. mp3s cut the "air" out of a recording.
if I had to guess I would say it's because with the "speed sensitive volume" enabled, as speed rises so does the volume (and it possibly messes with the EQ) to try to mask some of the road noise. Too much volume and cranking up the EQ will make the speakers sound blown. It's all anecdotal...
also make sure your speed volume is disabled. apparently that has a big effect on the sound. i turned it off as soon as I got the car, maybe that's why I think the radio sounds great 🤷♂️
I don't want to know so I take my glasses off when I wash the front bumper, ignorance is bliss
I do have a paint pen ready for when I work up the courage to check
these cars are still pretty new so I don't know if anyone has done this yet. if your whole dash is flexing and it's still under warranty I would take it in.
I wasn't too sure if this mod was worth it but it is. I bought 20mm spacers from burger tuning since Z1 says they won't ship until August 😐. these were decently priced but also use 7075 aluminum and 10.9 studs, not that I think I need the extra strength but it's nice to have. Next up is lowering...
I think as long you change the oil between 3k and 5k miles you should be okay for a while since the failure most likely comes from dirty oil. i bought that prideauto piece for future peace of mind because years down the road, when the cars aged, I just don't want to have to worry about it
