I have had tires explode so I am not one to take risks haha. Sidewall failed on cheap tires I had on my 350z.
I trust Michelin more anyways after I had a piece of rebar go through my wheel. Tire held pretty well with explosive depressurization. 666M wheel for anyone wondering
As the post title states, my OEM tires have dry rotted with 1300 miles on them. Maybe caused by the dealer I bought he car from moving it after storing outside for winter. I had the wheels stored inside since February. Local dealer said they can't warranty.
Date code on the tires is 44/24...
Anyone have any insight on air routing for the intake son the Nismo? Wondering if it would benefit from some sort of ram Air intake. Ducting or a cutout.
The only things worth it on the new ones in my opinion are the fuel tank design change and the Nismo getting a manual. Fuel tank design only matters if you're tracking it and not refueling once you hit half tank.
I feel like if dealers were forced to sell at MSRP or lower, the sales figures would have been much better. And I mean they are all selling eventually once the dealers drop prices. Like I got my '25 Nismo for $55k OTD with 900 miles on it which is what I think the car shouldve been valued at...
