I normally don't go for the vinyl lines/decals, but those look really great! That's exactly how I'd want my seiran blue z.

Sort of reminds me of my Toyota Tacoma, when the locking mechanism in the doors move. It’s as if the grease or lubrication in the mechanism is worn away, and you get this slight metal on metal noise. It’s a very similar sound.

I’m just happy to hear production may continue till summer 2026. All things considered I was expecting production could end sooner. Hopefully not.

i haven’t looked super closely into the Z’s front plate mount, but is it the kind where they have to drill into something? Or is it a bracket that attaches around the grill? (Without drilling).

I’ll leave it off (if we ever get a chance to purchase a manual Z). It’s required here in Washington, but I didn’t have one on my old BRZ and never got pulled over. And if I do, it’s a “donation to the state” that I’ll gladly make.

Rivian may be rare and expensive, but they're out on the road. There are two in my neighborhood. Can’t say the same for the Z. I know the Z isn’t out yet and that’s sort of the problem. And when it does…no one will actually be able to buy one. I predict I’ll see more Rivians than Zs. But...

I admit, I actually sort of like it. ?‍♂️
