the cons of slip joints… no an issue with bolted or v-band joints… i’m considering painting mine with cerakote including the male side each joint to act like a seal and to tighten the joint.

No idea. i was looking at Invidia’s 70mm catback & 3” lowers and had the same question. Most of the 3” to stock include an adapter plate. Not sure if that is needed for 3” to 70mm.

I’m guessing another resonator version is not going to help much. you may have to go catted and/or quieter exhaust… It maybe simpler to buy the wife her own Z - lol. You could slap the oem lower back on and see what racebox can do with it… I’m thinking i can rig up a bracket to fit if that...

I guessing the spool fits the Q just fine. I wonder if the Q bracket will work on the z?

I take that as it’s the same as others. But it’s a mute point for you since you are removing them… that’s a good idea.. I’m just glad i found out before installing them. I‘m going to consider fabricating a bracket. If not, i will toss them in the attic museum and buy something that fits…

from looking at the upper dp, the lower bracket is the only support to protect the turbo housing and downpipes from engine rocking up/down during hard acceleration / deceleration. Without the bracket the stress is going to the turbo housing flange / upper dp and to the upper / lower...
