Can you mount the oem brace upside down?
I was thinking of using washers or something for more clearance. did you try spacers before beating the h@ll out of it? More fun?

iām considering painting mine with cerakote including the male side each joint to act like a seal and to tighten the joint.
No idea. i was looking at Invidiaās 70mm catback & 3ā lowers and had the same question. Most of the 3ā to stock include an adapter plate. Not sure if that is needed for 3ā to 70mm.
Iām guessing another resonator version is not going to help much. you may have to go catted and/or quieter exhaust⦠It maybe simpler to buy the wife her own Z - lol. You could slap the oem lower back on and see what racebox can do with itā¦

Iām just glad i found out before installing them. Iām going to consider fabricating a bracket. If not, i will toss them in the attic museum and buy something that fitsā¦
from looking at the upper dp, the lower bracket is the only support to protect the turbo housing and downpipes from engine rocking up/down during hard acceleration / deceleration.
Without the bracket the stress is going to the turbo housing flange / upper dp and to the upper / lower...
