Turns out a new front bar is surprisingly cheap from Nissan and they have them in the Melbourne warehouse. 613 for the unpainted bar and 200ish for the grille. Few hundred for paint and its still going to come in under my excess.

re: airflow concerns. I am pretty sure that the area speed forme front grille covers is already blocked behind the grille by the foam piece that our front number plate screws into. If that is the case I would have thought it doesn't have a huge effect. I am not that kind of engineer...

Something to be aware of is that it illegal to run spacers in Australia. Technically tyre shops are not allowed to install spacers on a road car, or even put your wheels back on with the spacers fitted. You can probably get them engineered but ain't nobody got time for that, and if you are...
When you lower the car it will induce more negative camber, tucking the tops of the rims in closer to the car, allowing you to run bigger spacers. If you get adjustable arms to correct this additional negative camber, then it's a different story.
