Followed the wire and pulled off another do-dad. It looks like a lo-jack?? A white ~12 pin connector connects the device to the car and then that 5 pin to that OBD2 port. Weird.

This is probably my ignorance but "what is that dongle"? It was in my OBD port (which is white) and then plugged into a 6 or 7 pin connector. Is it supposed to be there?

No, but conveniently I was originally after grey n red prior to landing that black n blue. The black looked lethal and sexy for sure. It was a dealer finance promotion that shrunk my rate, term ,and payment somehow...lol.

My new Z came with a NISSAN "oem" dashcam that sucks. Figured it all out though and have been using it reliably. Glad to have the insurance of it recording shenanigans.

Got to 1500 miles so did a first oil change myself. While down there I put on the Z1 Aluminum Service Plate shroud thing. Glad to have something tougher than than plastic sheet. The oil pan is plastic though and that freaked me out.

Same FBO set up here as yours. Been looking at the aftermarket clutches but am fine waiting (years) for it to give me a hint.

Just added the track to touring option to my MAP downpiped car, has track cat back. The touring add on is AMAZING. The car growls and howls but has no bad frequencies in the low RPMs and I can hear the turbo spin now. Absolutely chuffed!

Have chatted down pipes and the AWae Track exhaust. Installing their touring kit to tame it up a little. Really happy with the power from the tune with intake after the full exhaust.

Have MAPerformance chatted down pipes put in front of my AWE Track Exhaust. It's tuned with EcuTek thru Z1, just an OTS map. Loud under load for sure. Going to install the Track to Touring muffler kit so I don't get attacked by all the neighbors.

Here are some dirty pics of the car with the AWE Track exhaust. Loving it, now that I have the track cat back I had to buy downpipes. Look at the size of these tips!! They're huge, lol. Might get smaller ones to be a little less ostentatious?!

In a moment of reckless weakness I ordered the Z1 Ecutek tuner, duff brace, suffrage spacers, and radiator... then the MapPerformance downpipes... oops. Guess the sway bars, wheels, and coil overs are coming next year.
