I wouldn't worry too much about it, until you have to. I was aware of this potential issue before I bought my car as well. I will for sure be looking into an extending warranty based on the outcome of future issues.
Hopefully, Nissan will still be around to address some of these potential...
If my memory serves me well, I have heard 2 or more shops say that most of the part numbers are the same as the previous motor in the Q50/60. I think the turbos were the only thing that was different. Only time will tell with new Z owners.
Apparently, BMW has a similar theory for not offering a manual with the new M2 CS . I came across this article a couple of days ago.
The 2026 BMW M2 CS is exclusively offered with an eight-speed automatic transmission, according to the BMW Blog. This decision is primarily due to the...
Yeah, I watched this yesterday and last night, the Z was really strong. I did see the other Z crash and was wondering what had happened, did it spin on cold tires after piting? The red GTR GT3 was putting in some amazing laps as well.

Enjoy the new Z! Glad you got to deal with Nismo Nick, I was thinking about buying one of his cars before I ended up buying mine locally. Again, congrats!
Not sure I've noticed this. I tuned off all the speed limit assist and other stuff like that. I'll check into it and see how my settings are, and report back later.
It sounds like the performance model is right up your alley. Whichever version you choose you will love it! I still think right now is the best time to buy a Z. Remember, you have the upper hand being the fact that these cars are going way under MSRP. Look forward to hearing your thoughts on...
Lol! I have a manual car, and have driven them for many years. I figured I would probably hit a nerve with you save the manual guys. But at the end of the day, to each their on, it makes no difference to me.
The way I see it, a sports car is still a sports car, manual or not. It may make you feel like a bigger man if you can use a clutch pedal, but I must admit that these newer cars with the programming and tuning is just better from a performance point of view.
