front / side / rear splitter arent carbon fiber but some form of plastic which can be easily swapped out for an estimated $1000.00 my guess,
car needs to be lowered by 1-1.5 inches ! does anyone know if the car has adjustable coil overs or adjustable shocks etc ?

It could just be the pictures, but the production yellow looks more flat to me.
Dan Passe said on a different thread the yellow paint for the Proto was a custom blend. The production paint is a slightly different shade.

Everything points to the Yellow being a normal color. The proto spec is the only one that gets the yellow calipers though.

I just saw that as well.

The Proto Spec, meanwhile, features a few unique elements on the exterior to tie it visually to the concept, like yellow-colored brake calipers and bronze 19-inch RAYS wheels, while the cabin dons a Proto Spec leather with yellow accents and suede inserts. Nissan is limiting the Z Proto Spec to just 240 examples (we see what you did there) in the US, and it's available exclusively as an option on the Performance trim.

Dang, maybe I should have waited as the Z looks better in the production version for some reason. The main thing I didn't like was the front end and it doesn't look like they changed anything except for maybe the grill a bit. Oh well, it won't be out until what next Spring and I have about 20k in trade equity on the 1320 so I shouldn't be in that bad of a situation if the final prices and reviews turn out better than expected.

1. Key holes in the door handles on the production Z.
2. There does appear to be less wheel well gap on the Proto.
