I just ordered floor mats and should have added these, but I still feel that this should have been standard equipment.
Totally agree the caps should have been standard. Mine came with the fluffy floor mats that have the metal Z logo. Are those the ones you ordered? They are very nice!

Well to my surprise the Nissan dealer called me and said the caps were in today! So... installed!
Yup easy pop on, pop off. The outer side of the "Nissan" cap is kind of flimsy so I was able to get a screwdriver under it pretty easy. Z caps popped right in there no problem.

Im about to tackle this heat exchanger. Hoping it wont be too bad of an install.

Very curious if it brings down op temps. I have not found a 180deg stat option - people don't believe that works - but on my Cat just that allowed car to consistenly run cooler - on the highway 30deg colder consistently.

Ok, just looked on line - this is actuall an air to water intercooler (what I am used to calling it) it seems JDM refers more often as a heat exchanger - which technically can refer to a radiator also. So, this eliminates my original question due this is for intake charge air.

Now my question, there are (2) intercoolers in the engine bay ( I believe) - does this replace these or is it addition too.

Nah the intercoolers are totally separate from the heat exchanger. This one from AMS is just replacing the tiny OEM exchanger.

Just ordered the Z logo center cap's for my wheels from my local dealer. Should have them next week.

If anyone is curious it's part number: T98W3-6GP0A
have been looking at getting these but shipping costs to Australia are more than the 4 center caps

I got some "3d stickers" with the Z logo for 20 bucks USD. They should arrive next week, not quite the same but should look OK, and the OEM ones wont fit my wheels properly anyway.

That's a shame.
They were $25 (US) a piece so I paid $100 at the dealer.

When I was there the parts guy said it was funny because the normal "Nissan" caps they sell, that come standard on the Z and other Nissan vehicles, are $100 a piece.

Seen running topics like this on other car forums where people talk about what they did with their car and can add it to a thread like this.

Went out for a fun drive?
Met other interesting car people?
Mods?
Upgrades?

I'll start.

Like a few others here have done, added the "Fairlady Z" badging to my spoiler and removed the "Z" in the centerplate on the rear. Got it from thezstore.com it's OEM with a nissan sticker / part number. The blue foam around it really helped line it up right too.

Looks so good, you inspired me. I have ordered 2 for the fenders. I wish I had used your source, eBay sellers were $20 more a piece. I'll add a pic after I install later this week.
