Another Aussie checking in. What's the current status re new Z orders downunder? Anyone know if the order books are open again? If so, what's the expected wait for a car nowadays?
More supply than demand right now.

So they should be able to get you a car super quick.

1000 I’m service and anc and are turned off today.

Got home with 9l per 100 km usage.

Boring freeway there and back.
Hills run with a few people from the club tomorrow let’s see if I can triple that.

So with new efficiency laws coming in next year.
And the z being over it.

Odds they kill the model at same time.

Unless I want white, red, blue or yellow, of course. ?
Unlikey to get a red, but plenty of the others floating around. You could pick up any of these as new, a demo or near new pretty easily as long as you don't want a coloured interior

There are 19x White Blue or Yellow on Carsales with <2000km on the clock

exactlly, if my blue interior had not happened I would have just grabbed this one for 14K less with 700 km

Your not going to believe this but this is the car I had a deposit on to buy as demo, at the time my local dealer did not have a delivery date for my order and this was my back up plan. My order came through unexpectedly and I cancelled the deposit on this car. Cant believe it still has not sold

Ughhh...

Please note - the interior of the Z is very much scratch prone..!!

The cupholder area in the center console (see heated seat buttons)... the door panels, the boot space that's not lined with fabric... the side of the seats should your boots (RM Williams) braise against them.

Can I ask fellow Australian owners... this is my doing - I was wiping my dash board with a soft cloth but my Apple Watch, you know that new chunky one... scratch the inside of the windscreen... A fine 5-6cm wide but very, very thin.

Thoughts? Can it be removed.

If you google there are some products that say they will remove fine scratches, but try this first
Apply a small amount of whitening toothpaste, which is slightly more abrasive than regular toothpaste, to a soft, clean cloth. Then, buff the scratched glass in small circular motions. The grit in the toothpaste is enough to remove small scratches from tempered glass.
