Just purchased my new 2025 Nissan Z Sport with 6-speed manual transmission last Thursday. I haven't tested it's limits just yet. In Sport mode, my upshift indicator lights do not light up. I have the upshift indicator lights set to auto. Do you have to reach a certain RPM in order for the green, yellow, and red lights to illuminate? I guess if I chose to customize I could choose a lower RPM to upshift into 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th gear. Hopefully, they just haven't lit up because I've kept it under 4,000 rpm.

Congrats.

Not sure of the rpm, but the auto setting takes more than 4K to light them up. Should get the green lights at ~4.5k+, yellows ~5.5k+, red ~6.5k+

maybe cool to custom set to 4K while you are in break-in mode.

Thanks for the response! I'm going to custom set to a lower rpm during my break-in period. Still less than 300 miles on the odometer! Maybe set it to 3.5k, 4.5k, and 5.5k.

I have the exact same version. It's fantastic! Hope you aren't shy because you're about to get a lot of attention from folks every time you stop at a light!

Enjoy that beauty!

Dude, you and I are in exactly the same boat. I took possession of my white 2025 Performance on Sunday. I’m doing the same break-in and shifting at 3500. I accidentally got on it a little extra to around 4k once and saw it briefly turn green before I upshifted. Enjoy it in good health. These cars are really something special.
