I can't find it posted anywhere already, although a couple of people may have used it.

Nissan's Japanese website has a Z "simulation" / configurator where you can choose various models, paint colours, and options - it is all in Japanese and Yen prices, but fairly easy to work out what to click on (mostly it is simply choosing an option and then clicking on the red button to go to the next step).

One of the best bits is that part of the process lets you choose the car's exterior colour then there is an image of the car which you can click on and rotate 180 degrees to see from any angle. (Direct link: Z Colour Configurator) The colours of course won't be super-accurate and will depend on you computer display. You can also choose the interior colour on the next page and still rotate the car image, but it seems to be limited to only black or red.

The last page has a list on the left-hand side where you can pick various categories of extras, including exhaust, trunk privacy screens / nets, etc., even a child seat.

:)

I noticed both Japanese and Australian websites don’t have red interior for Passion Red as an option? Is that only for state side?

It seems Japan only has red available with certain exterior colors and Australia has scrapped red altogether.

You can do the same on Nissan's Australian website if you prefer english.

Sadly no extras available yet though.
The Australian version also has less models to choose from - Australia has four, while Japan has six (because Australia doesn't get the "Sport" model) ... not that it makes any difference to the rotatable image of course.

Thanks for this post!! What saddens me (more like p*sses me off) is that we all know that USA will NEVER get this configurator when it finally (eventually) comes to the USA.

I wonder what color interior you can get with Rosewood? The one I clicked on only offers red and black with the yellow stitching. It may depend on the trim though.
