Finally got some seat time today. Car has super linear power. No way my former 22 Supra was faster. This car feels faster than my Supra. Not as precise around curves, but is much more comfortable. No claustrophobic feeling while driving. Z handles great. Just the right balance of good ride quality and handling. The 9AT shifts good. The gear spacing is perfect. Compared to my C7, the Z feels very close in terms of acceleration and power. I actually like this car better than the Supra. Much better daily driver. Nissan hit a home run.

Two of the upgrades I've done recently were new wheels & tires, and adding aftermarket (Stillen) sway bars. These two modifications definitely improved how the car handles, less body roll, more grip, and still allows for the car to be a comfortable daily driver that doesn't punish my spine anytime I hit a pothole. I won't rule out the possibility of other bracing or suspension upgrades later, but for now the differences are both positive and they address any minor complaints I had initially.

I only drove a newer Supra briefly, but I didn't care for the interior whereas I LOVE the blue interior on my Z. I find the Supra front end to be absolutely hideous...and I'd grade the styling for the rest of the car a B- or a C+. The Z, at least in my personal opinion, is a far more attractive car and while I don't love the grill design on the Sport/Performance models, I appreciate the design cues that they pulled from previous generations so I can understand some of the choices they made. Supra's are pretty common where I live, but at least 2-3x a week I have someone pull up next to me and give an enthusiastic thumbs-up or ask me about the car.

Lots of YouTube automotive channel dorks out there have flooded the internet with their opinions that the Supra is the "better" car, but I disagree, and I also spent at least $20k less for my Z than I would have on a Supra so there's that.

Definitely agree! The cloth seats on my Z are actually much more comfortable than the leather ones on my previous Infiniti Q50.

Always enjoy real world experience views on sports cars and not youtubers who don't own any of the cars they review and just talk about racing and tech.

Some more observations. I could always feel the electronic LSD working in the Supra when pushed. I much more prefer the mechanical unit in the Z. As far as the automatic transmission, the ZF in the Supra was good. But by no means is the 9 speeds in the Z inferior. I actually prefer the extra gear in the Z. I use the car as my daily driver, and it is outstanding. The perfect blend of comfort and handling and power. Cannot wait to drive the car to the beach. I have owned just about every sports car under the sun, and I am loving this Z.

I am definitely not a suspension expert. Ibusually work on boats with large dieslels, how hard to change. (Sway bars)

It's pretty easy, I'd say a 3 or a 4 out of 10 in terms of difficulty? More work than an oil change, and it might take a few hours if you're doing it alone, but not bad at all imo.
