looks good from your pic. how do you feel about the fitment? any issues?

i think these hoods look best painted to match, but leaving the cf vents exposed...

Fitment is pretty spot on. Only small issue I have is the two square hooks located on the underside that attach into the bumper area upon closing are a little bit loose. Meaning when I close the hood I sometimes need to turn a hook a tiny bit to make it align right. Otherwise the left side of hood will sit a little bit high.

But I don't open and close hood very often, and it's not that big of a deal to turn hook a little bit before closing.

For the price, the fitment and adjustment should be 99.9% perfect. However with CF hoods you never know. That is why I'm in the fences to order a CF Hood, thinking on the Seibon one.

I agree, I will say that every Varis part I have is a perfect fit. CF can be tricky fitment wise, that's why I'd suggest Varis based on reputation and how everything I have fits. But, I don't think I have seen the Seibon hood on a Z. My guess is that company would have good fitment also.

Same style as the Varis, only different is the price ....

Seibon doesn't use a clear with UV inhibitors in it. So your hood will turn yellow in 3-4 years. I'm getting mine in a couple weeks and it will be painted.

Direct from Seibon California? Let me know about the fitment bc I'm OCD. Also, if I get the Seibon CF hood it will painted.

Yes. All their parts. Had a Seibon CF hood, side skirts, and rear diffuser on my old 370z. Also Varis recommends clear coating for UV protection and extra gloss, their parts only come gel coated.

I opted to just XPEL ceramic coat the Varis parts and will get the PPF custom cut for the pieces this summer.

Aerocatch plus flush mount pins 120 series are my favorite so far.
