Hey everyone, I was curious if anyone has found any aftermarket dampers that improve the suspension vs the stock ones. I know stock its quite a bit under damped, I don't mind too soft of a suspension (like stock), for me my car is a daily driver, I just want to get rid of the pogoing that the stock suspension seems to have over some bumps. I know coilovers are an option, but I'd rather not get something that makes the car too stiff.

I know there are some good aftermarket options, especially with HKS. I went with the NISMO option to stay more OEM. They are lower to mid priced (should be able to get them around $1500 delivered), mine are still set on the softer side (4 clicks from softest) but can be firmed up a lot to your liking. They helped the car a ton and it really feels like how it should have come from factory! Plus if you want the car a little lower you can with these (I lowered about .5 inches) I hope this helps!

With it in the current setting, does the car still feel comfy to daily? And have you noticed if the car seems happier with the Nismo coils?

Totally for both questions! It does lose the boaty/floaty feeling over bumps and becomes more firm but it’s a sports car! Overall still very compliant and comfortable, maybe a little more jarring over a really bumpy surface but not bad in my opinion. Totally worth doing! Also I did the NISMO stabilizer bars under the theory of while you’re in there which helps it feel more planted while turning under throttle. Those were in the mid $300s for both front and back. I don’t want to make it much more harsh and invite a ton more NVH but thinking about doing some bushings and NISMO control arms to help with feeling, especially for steering. Other than that I feel it’s pretty well dialed in for what I like which is a very sporty GT car.
