I haven't driven a turbo car in ages. It used to be a full few seconds before the turbo kicked in, i'm sure any modern turbo engine will be vastly improved than what i remember.
+1 my last turbo car was a 97 Eclipse GS-T. That turbo lag was definitely a couple of seconds but when it kicked in it sure was fun :) And that turbo sound was delicious.

I really think turbo lag issue is overblown by internet car enthusiasts. Really doesn't affect driving much unless you're on a track.

Loved that car! makes me miss the heydays of the japanese sports cars of the 90's I still see a few around sometimes and give them props for sticking it out :)
