There's a story on Jalopnik about how thousands of Broncos are parked on the manufacturer's lot - covered in snow - awaiting computer chips.

One really has to question, how did we get into a situation where there was only two producers of such an important thing.
surely there are plenty of tech companies that could have and should have invested…it’s money for jam

These are not "new" chips. They're decades old - proven and tested design and manufacturing - and which have relatively limited use.

4,000 Bentleys, Porsches and Audis Burn in Cargo Ship Fire
According to Jalopnik, the cargo also includes some limited edition Lamborghini Aventador cars, which the factory has stopped making, so might have to restart making them to re-fill the customers' orders. (It may even be easier to give them an option to be first-in-queue upgrade for the next limited edition model instead.)

I recognize 6 or 7 of these but I blame Top Gear and Forza for that.

I know a lot of people like to say that about the F50, not so much the F40, but I couldn't disagree more. Sure the F40 looks odd with the headlights popped up, but that makes it worse looking than an Aztek?... C'mon now ?‍♂

We have a Honda CRV…have to say we have had the breaks slam on a number of occasions. Its usually on a duel carriage way, or when passing a car turning into a side street from a inroad.
I’m pretty sure it’s detecting cars and thinking they are in front of us, instead of in the next lane. This is the issue with collision warning, technology is only good if it’s working as it is designed to do

Another Jalopnik slideshow:

These Are The Worst Cars With Pop-Up Headlights
It turns out that pop-up headlights aren't always cool.

This list includes:
  • Cizeta V16T
  • Nissan 300ZX Z31
  • Pontiac Firebird
  • Porsche 928
  • The Corvette C3 and C4
  • Isuzu Impulse
  • Porsche 911
  • Geo Storm (and Isuzu twin)
  • Plymouth Superbird
  • Lincoln Continental
I like the Nissan 300ZX Z31, although the pop-up lights do look a little half-finished compared to those on the S13 200sx / 180sx where they are fully hidden when down (except when some fool pointlessly modifies them to stay slightly up!!).
