I don't know if this is going to be it or if this is something older and carscoops jumped the gun on reporting, but this came up in my feed this morning. Looks like the TAS RetroZ Concept is going to be based off the Z33, not the 34. Slightly disappointing if true. This thing is kinda ugly.

edited to add, despite it being a little ugly, I do love the Japanese penchant for fascia swaps. She may not be a looker but she's got some charm. ?

That thing is based off the Z34, it says 2008 model because in other markets that was the first year of the 370Z where as for us it was 2009. @jdm-rhd made a thread about this car which says it will be at TAS, but I wasn't thinking that this is what they had in mind for a retro concept. There will still be a different concept present since it says, "a one-off customized Fairlady Z takes the all-new model as a base ".

You're right. It even says it right in the article. My mistake. I went almost straight to the pics. Skimmed to see what the interior and engine had on offer, and who was doing it but thats about it.

This is where my disappointment was coming from. I was expecting the new Z. Good to know we still have the cusomized proto to look forward to.

Still over a week until the show, but some of those car lists seem incomplete.

Well that too lol. I meant there are cars that will be at the show that aren't on the lists from what I can tell.
