Considering that there isn't enough lithium on the planet to make batteries for all the electric vehicles needed to replace the petrol/diesel fleet, one of the biggest worries will be the price!! The cost of making the batteries will skyrocket, and so will the price of cars and replacement battery packs for second-hand cars. :(

Did you see the mini documentary in another thread.
They are using little kids in the Congo to mine in dangerous conditions, and paying them just $2 a week to do it …it’s disgusting
They also said it takes between 6 and 11 years for a EV to become carbon neutral by which time most will have bought another new car.

On the flip side, here in Aus we are one of the biggest producers of Lithium in the world, and they have just found more huge deposits

One thing for sure you can get rich easily here working on the mines…even the cleaners get paid more than most professionals because the mines are so remote
