So I’ve been in the market for a brand new CD009 (the 350Z 6-speed), and after some digging around for prices, I noticed my local Nissan dealer had it marked down $731 off MSRP. Not bad, right?
While browsing, I noticed Nissan’s site had a 20% off promo code. Now, the fine print clearly said it wasn’t supposed to apply to engines, transmissions, or NISMO parts just the usual accessories and maintenance stuff.

Naturally I thought “What if…?”

I threw the CD009 in my cart, typed in the code, hit apply and BOOM ? it worked!! No error. No warning. Just straight-up discount.
The total dropped like a rock — from $3,279 MSRP to $2,239 after tax. That’s over $1,240 in savings.
There’s still a chance the dealer that received my order will catch this mistake & cancel or they might not catch it and I’ll walk out of there with a trans ?? I’ll update this post if anything changes! It’s been 1 business day now so I’m hoping the odds are now in my favor since the manager/parts person would have been flagged about this error. And now we wait….

the coupon code is in the first picture give it a try with you orders let’s see if we all get lucky ?

To be fair you forgot to say the good manual transmission. There were earlier iterations that sucked
