Goodyear (and others) is putting out a better product than Michelin these days. Michelin was THE flagship standard a few years ago... But the other top brands have caught up and surpassed.
If anyone by chance is running the F1 Eagles feedback would be appreciated. Thanks for the response.

I had purchased the goodyears from my local tire shop. After installing they made a ton of noise, almost like a wheel bearing and it drove me nuts. The tire shop tried everything!! Long story short they swapped them for the continentals for the same price.

The only reason I even considered the goodyears was that exact tirerack review. Thankfully my buddy has an account with the tire shop, Im not sure how the whole thing would have turned out if he didn't.

I have experienced the same issue with GoodYears in the past. I have been a Michelins consumer when choosing performance tires but I have noticed the Continentals have really caught my attention and are rated excellent by many owners. Tire Rack is definitely my go to source when choosing between brands since they have on site testing of all their performance tires. I like how quiet and with sure footed traction my Michelins have had but there’s other brands out there to try for sure.

Not on the Nissan Z, but on my BMW Z4 and 130i I had both Michelin and F1's - both had good traction, handling, braking etc, but the F1's are louder. There's no escaping it.

Thanks to all for the input.

Ditched the Bridgestones and went with the Michelins. They are quieter and stickier in the rain and on gravel.
