My hot take, grey/silver cars just blend in with each other and look stale (gunmetal grey is okay). I'm personally aiming for a passion red Z, but wrapping it in gloss sky blue. Really make it pop in an ocean of grey/black/white cars. It's still nice don't get it twisted, I'll gladly drive that anyday, but c'mon its a JDM sports car, it needs some spice!

That car above looks more silver than gunmetal. Hopefully it is darker in person.

Even if there was sound you wouldn't have heard any exhaust note. Trust me the stock exhaust will sound abysmal. Even on the 370Z, which has bigger displacement and is naturally aspirated, sounds awful with the stock exhaust. The new Z will need a proper aftermarket exhaust; downpipes and catback, to really sound good.
I took off the muffler and added some Takeda pipes. Sounds much better
