This sound issue comes all the way back from the 370 and maybe the 350. I just change the speakers, sub-woofer and added twitters using the Bose Amp and sounds great.
Yeah, the stereo in the Z is an offense to common sensibility. I'm one of those people who dropped in a very high end stereo into the Z. I wanted a high end audiophile's wet dream of a system, so that's what I did with a total Focal replacement for all speakers, added a couple bass pods and sound deadened the entire car (required pulling the interior out).1 week with my '24' Performance 6 spd. I love it! I knew the pros and cons as I’ve watched every YouTube video but the one thing that bothers me the most as everyone knows is the stereo. If Nissan would have at least (very least) added a mid level adjustment along with the treble and bass, I could have tried to like the sound. After a plethora of adjustments forward, back word, treble, and bass….It sucks. I’ve read numerous posts on the huge amount of work to upgrade the stereo and I think I’ll pass. I think Nissan would have made money if they offered an up level option, many people would have paid the money. That’s it, I just wanted to vent(P.S. Bose just puts their name on anything now a days) 🫤
