I wish it’s just my ears are sensitive. But the sound is pretty noticeable when you physically in the car. So I’m trying to find a time that I can put the car in shop for several days so they can cold start it and try to find the source.

Pretty similar here, not really hearing it after it’s warmed up. That’s why it’s hard to replicate to people working at the shop because I drive it daily and can’t really replicate the noise without putting the car in the shop for a day or longer.

If you mean the metal sound at the beginning, yes that’s what I was talking about. The others is just I was trying to catch more sound other than the drone.

I have the noise cancellation still on, and I did think about there might be some problem when the speakers are trying to cancel the noise from the exhaust. Thanks for the very long reply! That was a lot! For the tool I have a whole set for what I need right now, just at that time my things were all on the truck to my new home so I couldn't get them. But now I already got them so no worry for that, just changed the caps to tubes yesterday to check...

Well I did the cap switch at the shop since I was moving and got no tools to do it myself(they asked me for 160 for 1 hour labor wtf). And was trying to switch the tubes back to check the noise and found that the bolts aren't even the same. Kinda losing my last trust...

That was the thing I wasn't pay attention, and I'm now concerning about the trust issue on that. I only saw them taking the car into workspace and life up but then just sitting in another room and waiting. I think I need another inspection for real.

What is weird is that I did take the car back to shop and let them check for everything and they said there are plenty of space between exhaust and other parts. So I don't know if that's something else but caused by the vibration when it's droning. But I'm not sure if that drone is normal or not...

I was concerned about that, which is why I'm only planning to get some Nismo intake, heat exchanger, and other Nismo stuff. Only the exhaust got many different answers, that's why I'm still deciding between these 3 now, and not really considering the Nismo street since there is Ti existing.

That makes sense, I will find a trustable shop to do that. Actually just realized that there are 2 exhaust from HKS, one is Super Turbo Muffler and one is Full Dual Muffler. Looks like 3 to choose now :D.

Is the HKS one better than Nismo Ti? Haven't seen anyone compared these 2 yet, that is the reason this is hard to decide.
