This is awesome, anyone know what exhaust that is?
I would be curious to know what all those ams stage 3 fuel system parts would make on 93 octane with turbos like that for those of us not near ethanol, have not seen a dyno like that yet.
i traded an ND club for my Z Nismo, lol.
i struggle with the manual transmission thing, in the moment i miss rowing through gears but when i'm actually driving the nismo that goes away with it in sport+ manual mode. It is very engaging to drive.
The car was built to be highly modified also I...
i have b6a, there are no brackets. the silicone coupler that goes from the maf housing to the turbo is pretty thick and holds things solidly in place. Brackets are a nice addition though for extra security!
If you go into the youtube settings you can set it to auto translate the subtitles to english.
He gives it a good review, it also sounded like there is an easter egg engraved on the front brake calipers of the nismo - the name of the founder of the company that ultimately became nissan - has...
I drove the MT Sport and AT Nismo before ultimately buying the Nismo,
It depends what your looking for but the Nismo just felt more planted on the road out of the box, the transmission is no slush box either, it shifts very quickly up and down. The whole package is very engaging with the nismo...
Time will tell, the nismo runs cooler than the regular Z based on track day reviews I have read due to the extra airflow so hopeful that helps it.
Besides with it being red and now making spooly boy noises it’s probably gained even more bhp anyway ?
I wanted to relive my 2007 glory days of turbo noises on my old S14 so after a lot of looking i went with the intake kit from Boosted 6 Autowerks.
It was fairly straight forward to install but nissan gifted us with sharp edges and tight access so there was lots of colorful language and blood...
It would have some similarities for sure,
the nismo has some differences to the normal z underneath, I remember rear subframe/bracing being one piece, there could be other things too. I saw a bit about it in this video:
Would be interested to see if they did anything to the chassis on the...
Turbos have a certain efficiency range that they work within, on a stock car they are typically sized so that boost comes in quickly so you don't get a lag when you put your foot down, the knock on effect of that is they run out of puff at the top of the rev range. when you go to bigger turbos...
it does drive like a normal car when in standard mode for sure, took one of my friends out it in today and he thought the stiffness of the suspension is no worse than his 2019 E63s AMG so even that point is down to personal preference and tollerance.
