It's really kinda shocking how bad the camera is. The after market camera for my other car was only $100 and is 10x better in image quality. Idk how Nissan could get away with such a cheap low quality camera in the z ?‍♀️
The manual recommends changing the oil only every 10,000 miles or 12 months. Are they serious? Will any of you wait this long to do the oil changes? Just seems crazy to me. My BRZ has 7500 mile intervals and that seems long too. Sorry if this has already been discussed in another sub but I...
From 5-94 of the owners manual regarding the sonar parking assist system:
The system will not detect
small objects below the bumper,
and may not detect objects close
to the bumper or on the ground.
Thanks for the pics. This looks like it should be fine since it connects to the existing hinge/bracket. I was just concerned it would add a separate bracket on the hood that would remain connected if it has to pop.
This one is designed to work with the hood poppers but I wonder if there's any liability issue if the hood were to remain attached (due to the struts) during a collision with a pedestrian causing extra harm. https://www.kanjospecd.com/product-page/hood-dampers
Yes that's what Ive been doing but sports seem to still be stuck with markups. Plenty of performance models going for msrp. I guess the market is starting to turn with interest rates so high
Hey all. There's a used black sport model for sale in my area by a dealer who purchased it at auction from another dealer and the asking is currently 43777. The window sticker shows the original MSRP was 42xxx. What do you think is a fair price? Should I aim for below the original MSRP? Thanks!
What if a unit no longer shows on the Nissan website but a dealer's website shows it's still for sale? Some shenanigans?
Edit: nevermind. It's just the Nissan website being crappy. The car shows when I use a zip code from that city ? which is dumb because I set the search distance to 250 miles
Not just Fi motors wanting 93 for best performance. The BRZ/frs/gt86 motor also is rated/recommended with 93 octane but it's high compression motor. 91 is acceptable if 93 is not available.
It's for emissions and junk like that. I'm in az and we share the same crappy 91 gas that California gets. The two states have a "special blend" although some parts of az don't use that iirc.
Yea we will see. I'm sticking to MSRP. Even 1-2k over is a no go for me. The PHX market hasn't gotten very many so far but seem to be getting a few more lately.
