  1. My shiny new thing!

I considered the MT-03 as well, but I was upgrading from my Ninja 250 that I'd learned on, and wanted something with a little more get up and go (which this definitely has!) Had to ride back from a dealer 45 minutes away in the cold rain to get mine in the colour I wanted.
  2. My shiny new thing!

With us not knowing when we'll get to finally drive the Z, I decided to upgrade my bike for now.
  3. 2023 Nissan Z Launch Delayed Until Summer 2022

I can see why it would be frustrating for some people, as it means the difference between driving it for a season before parking it for winter, or essentially going straight into storage if October launch is, in fact, accurate.
  4. Selling the 2023 Z over MSRP

Are dealers allowed to pre-add on items for a vehicle that was ordered in specifically for one customer though, as almost all, if not all Zs that are coming in are? I get if it's a vehicle that's going into their inventory, they can add on whatever, and if customer doesn't want to pay it, they...
  5. Anyone place deposit for 2023 Nissan Z or gotten on waitlist? / Are you able to place an order?

Pre-order campaign, it started Jan 26, ended Feb 2, I believe? I ordered Jan 31. Edit: spelling and clarification
  6. Anyone place deposit for 2023 Nissan Z or gotten on waitlist? / Are you able to place an order?

It's been widely speculated, just sharing that officially, Nissan Corporate (at least in Canada) has announced start of production
  7. 2023 Nissan Z Vehicle Price Ordering Guide LEAKED First Look!

I thought the whole point was to price the Z at less than Supra, not more? Canadian dealers aren't allowed to add ADM either.
  8. A Great Conversation with Dan Passe on 2023 Nissan Z [Specs, Release, Pricing]

I stand corrected. I knew the exchange wouldn't be an exact carryover, I assumed Nissan world take advantage of the fact that the Supra is a higher price point to set their Canadian MSRP. But it looks like the 2020 370Z Canadian was only ~4k higher than US MSRP. Good news for us up north.
  9. A Great Conversation with Dan Passe on 2023 Nissan Z [Specs, Release, Pricing]

Seeing as how the sport is announced at around 40k USD, and the performance is guesstimated at around 45-47k USD, I'd be extremely surprised (although happily so) is it ends up being 50k CAD. I'm assuming it'll be closer to 58-60k CAD for the performance. The Supra 3.0 starts around 68k, so...
  10. Toyota GR 86 vs Nissan Z

Donut Media recently did a video about HP/$
  11. Live exterior/interior look @ 2023 Nissan Z by the guys from The Straight Pipes @Yorkdale

Another teaser, but still no news...☹️ I have my confirmation email from my dealer pre-order, and I'm in no hurry, so I'll most likely wait it out. But these teasers are frustrating. At this point, I'd prefer if Nissan didn't release anything unless there's new info.
  12. Manual Supra Confirmed for 23?

Didn't Toyota shut down all Japan factories in response to the cyberattack of one of their suppliers? I wonder if that will affect the timeline at all.
  13. Current gas prices in your area? / Oil News

Regular gas in Vancouver at $2 CAD/litre on average, converting to USD amounts to roughly $6.28 USD/gallon
  14. ⏱ 2023 Nissan Z Launch Timeline Schedule - SOP, Media First Drives, Sales Start

At this point, I am trying to just be patient (not one of my strong points). I remind myself that I have my place in 'line', and whenever the Z comes to market, my place in line will not change. I do check the forum and Google for news at least once a day though haha.
  15. Canadian Reserve List and Discussion

The dealer that I pre-ordered from on Jan 31 showed me my pre-order page, it shows an estimated RDR date of 2022/06/30. Might just be a placeholder, but it has me hopeful!
