I edited the comment, you can see why.
There's a reason why no factory sports car runs on corn juice.
They are not stupid, they have teams of engineers working on this
To actually make a car run on ethanol you need brass gaskets, fuel lines, specialized injectors, stable tunes. Not a tune...
Do not tune your car on corn juice!
You will fk out your engine.
-Ethanol eats gaskets
-Eats non-ethanol fuel lines
-Cloggs injectors
-Absorbs moisture
-Has the possibility to prematurely detinate
-It does strange things on engine temps (on a engine that's already having heat soak issues)
Why...
I got my final contract from Nissan today, $81,600 all up
Does anyone know any inside info on first order ETA ? I haven't asked my dealer yet. I'll probably need to fly overseas soon for 2 months, I don't want my car to get to Aus without me being here.
Watching this makes me wonder. . .
How do you blow bearings and create an actuation rattle in a car that's built in 2017 ? this video is posted in 2021 🤔 Also the carbon build up on a car that's had 3-4 years of driving. . .
-If the car was driven hard the carbon wouldn't be that bad. . . so...
That's a really nice gear knob!
it reminds me of the M3/M4 shifters
I’ve had multiple manual cars (6), never owned a weighted gear shifter, my friends have, and the shifts feel amazing.
Last few years I’ve been looking at ways to have the perfect shift feel.
From all the "research" my personal...
They’re not cheap,
That round one is called: The Nad Pro
Gear knob: $120 AUD
Leather boot retainer: $40 AUD
LW dogtag $20 AUD
Just check their website, the weighted stuff is the “Pro” lineup…
If your a JDM enthusiast, checkout the likewise show car: built 2JZ 86 ?
There is a company in Australia 'LikeWise' that makes some really nice shift knobs.
I was looking at some of their weighted stuff. I wasn't sure how they would flow with the new Z interior.
I quickly threw them into photoshop.
- They also make a "black steel version" that might work nicely.
Yeah, I owned the most amazing S15 in 2014, I sold it in 2015 for $18,000 hahaha
It was a 2002 Spec R (Australian model. not imported)
Had 70,000 genuine Km on the clock
1 owner before me
I put around $8,000 worth of modifications on it, kept it for 2 years and sold it.
Used car prices in Australia are sooo messed up right now. I keep a close eye on used Jdm sports car prices
Examples:
S15 - $50,000-$65,000
240sx (180sx in Aus) -$40,000-$50,000
Skyline GTR R32 - $120,000
Skyline GTR R33- $99,000
Skyline GTR R34- $230,000-400,000
Hilux $55,000 used, new it’s...
That Woosh reminds me of wrx’s and evo’s
I looking for a unique sound or a nice clean flutter, the best flutter is surge ?
Yeah I was thinking, will recirc vavles really make a difference on the Z? I’m guessing we are not using AFM’s... The air isn't metered when entering the turbine...
I was looking into this, on some engines it flutters on some it *wooshes*
A close friend had a cosworth built wrx,
he had the most unique BOV sound,
I found out it was a Plazmaman BOV
I’ve seen afew Q60 owners running Turbosmart Bov’s but the sound was “ehhh”
I'm in Eric's boat, I've selected the Black interior. Depending on the red I might change the colour.
P.s It's going to be Everest White
I can't wait to see what the red will look like
Hi All,
I've been wondering how I will accomplish the perfect sound.
I don't wish to surge the turbos, I'm thinking BOV but they never seem to sound as good.
Just wondering what options do I have? and just in general what you think.....
Why does it feel like all these posts are just data gathering ?
How old are you? Are you Vaxxed? What's your income? are you married? Is your grandma still alive? Where will your Z be registered?
Weekends, late night mountian runs, track and car cruises. Afew of my friends own unicorns, 2 x R34's, a type x 180, AE86 and an R35 the Z will fit in nicely crusing with those legends.
I'll keep my current car for shopping centers, sitting in traffic, work, heavy rain, driving around with...
