Wow that price is absolutely absurd. You guys should remember the 370z sport model was 35k the Nismo 45k no way in heck is new the Nismo worth 20k+ more. Buy a 370z add a turbo kit, an entire spl suspension setup, and whatever else you want and you'll easily come out ahead even after paying...
RIP Nissans sports car division. They won't be letting the engineers spend a dime on making a new sports car at the numbers these are selling at and they shot themselves in the foot. No one to blame but themselves.
Those numbers don't make any sense at all. 1. A intake shouldn't give you that much. 2. What the heck is those base numbers that's basically a tuned fbo 370z. If that's actually base on their z that engine is built wrong (very worrying for qc)
I guess my problem is the model lineup and pricing. Once you cross the 60k threshold that the Nismo will certainly come in at my eyes start wandering to other vehicles. Not to mention a 10k upgrade from the base to get a lsd is stupid.
Haven't logged on in a while but I saw the new Nismo launched and figured I'd post some thoughts. I've been watching the entire launch of the new Z since they announced it. I have a 370z that's my baby and I'll drive the thing till the wheels fall off but sadly I can't bring myself to buy one of...
Not sure where you are seeing that the base will get 400hp. It won't I guarantee it. That's why I'm saying this car is a terrible value. Prices have already leaked for it and they are not that great.
â—Ź Base grade (304ps) /4.5 million yen
â—Ź Version S (304ps) / 5 million yen
â—Ź Version T (304ps) /...
I feel there is some fine print on that statement. Let's say it does start under 40k it will almost certainly be the 300hp version of the vr30 which makes it a terrible value why buy the new one with less HP for more money?
This was known since the unveiling he said then that what we are seeing is the final version but some how everyone completely glossed over that important piece of info when they said the design was going to be changed. So yeah unfortunately we are stuck with the ugly front bumper.
Anyone see that the Supra is testing with a new engine capable of 500hp supposedly. https://www.motor1.com/news/446042/toyota-supra-s58-testing-report/ If they put that in the Supra and keep the price the same that could spell trouble for Nissan especially if the pricing is in the upper 40k...
few things I noticed lots of the same stuff from the 370z door handles, speakers, center arm rest portion, same steering wheel turn signal/light stalks, same or very similar exhaust as the q60/50. Looks like the same brakes as the q60 black edition, same interior light dome as the 370z. Redline...
Nissan showed this off in October last year to people but they couldn't talk about it apparently. Can't believe nothing substantial leaked before the reveal. https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/news/new-nissan-z-proto-sports-car-twin-turbo-v6-pricing-manual-transmission/
"I was actually fortunate...
Do or die time for Nissan either they nail almost every aspect of this car or they will be bankrupt in a few years. Very excited to see what this thing looks like.
Just found this forum joining you all from the370z.com forum. Same handle as the370 forum. Excited to see what the new Z is going to look like. Also I'm digging the more modern look of this forum.
