Yes exactly.

I owned a 2001 Audi TT coupe in the rare "Aviator" Grey and it looked different in every kind of sky. It was an amazing colour. Totally forgot I owned that when I ordered this Boulder Grey/Gray (as the Americans like it!)

Actually I ordered a Boulder Gray and it was only available in either the standard Graphite or the Blue which didn't seem to match at the time (but I can see why they made it an option now seeing how there is blue in the Boulder Gray). Red was not available, surprisingly. But my dealer told me...

I believe the difference is that those of us in the first preorder phase from Jan 26th-Feb 2nd got a confirmation email confirming our orders which were aligned with actual allocations made pre-public to select dealerships. It wasn't an email confirming our reservation on a wait list made on...

Don't get me excited.

I'm just reasoning here (combined with Calgary's comment that his dealer said Spring delivery) but if the online reservations (that were accepted) are saying Summer 2022 then the presale advanced crowd that ordered through their dealerships backend computer might see a Spring delivery. All of...

Hey I've heard rumours of spring for the first group. Your dealer confirm that from something they heard?

I believe the presales group (January 26th to 29th roughly although it was supposed to go to Feb. 2nd but Nissan close it right away) was based on actual dealerships that were given allocations based on their high performance from their sales benchmarks moving Z's. If I forfeit this Z then my...

My dealership advised me that as we get closer to getting a production date that Nissan may make more options available. I wanted the red accent interior with the boulder grey to pick up on the red brake calipers.

yes I believe so. And these preorders seemed to be guaranteed depending on the dealership. That’s why I went to a high end performing hi volume dealership. They received more guaranteed allocations.

Exactly the process and email confirmation I got. I believe these preorders were guaranteed allocations.

Same story here. I was in touch with the dealership and placed my order manually on January 26th and then went into the dealership and confirmed the submission face to face. I was #3 of 10 orders within just a few hours. I received an "order" confirmation email from Nissan saying they will...

My dealership in Vancouver advised that Nissan will use the first "preorders" to launch their production run. And allocations will be made according to higher performing dealerships. He seemed to thing at least the first 3-5 at this location were going to be fulfilled.

Posted my reservation. Not seeing it in the spreadsheet. I've received an order confirmation (not a reservation confirmation) and am awaiting my Order# and production date. Not sure how much that means. But I was working with the dealership since November to qualify for the first few before it...

Posted my Reply and order confirmation.
