I recently picked up that same block off plate thinking i'd need it eventually but didn't realize I would need to do some tuning afterwards. Would be great if I had a gauge to reference for oil pressure but the NISMO doesn't have that option?!

I could be wrong but this just seems like shit luck to me? I figured a windshield wasn't something they could cheap out on because it has standards set by NHTSA for thickness etc

Yeah changing from the OEM fluids is something I'm looking at now. I found a local shop that i'm working with now and we talked about switching some fluids like the differential fluid to something that should handle the temps better.

Numbers don't always tell the whole story. Someone has always got it hotter, but the heat index was far above 95F. Really its just the hottest track weekend I have to reference and the only time i've gotten the reduced engine power warning for a very brief moment.
