curious to see what the back side of that area looks like. when i worked in a machine shop making molds, the thicker part of the plastic piece would sometimes have what they called "shrinkage". that's what this looks like to me. so i'm thinking there's a rib or boss support behind that area.

i hear ya, but... ive always wanted a targa top mkiv supra, but all 3 supras that ive had including my current one is a hardtop. i know most drag supra enthusiast prefer the hardtop because of its stiffness and resistance to body flex, but id love to have the sun in my head and wind in my hair...

my first car was a 79 monte carlo with t-tops and i loved having them off. mine didn't leak, but i understand ppl not wanting the issues if they did. i owned 2000 ws-6 that didn't leak in the rain, but would when going thru a powerful drive-thru car wash.
