Yeah that looks like stock to me. Even if something has changed, the Y-pipe still looks like the sub-2" one on the regular models, so it's not ideal. They really should have at least installed the Nismo exhaust by default (the one made by Borla).
I was lucky enough to acquire a brand new Black Performance 6MT Z at MSRP! I've been calling dealerships and refreshing the nissan inventory page for almost 6 months now, and it finally paid off. I'm planning on babying it through the break-in period, but as soon as that's done I'm excited to...
Woah interesting. I didn’t know there were companies that actually had the balls to hold the warranty hostage against resellers. That’s kind of awesome.
I wouldn’t be totally against Nissan doing this on a 6-12 month basis as well, with the added clause that the warranty would only fail to...
No this is very carefully worded to say that it only applies if the Z leaves the country. At first I thought it was what you said, but after referencing it multiple times it’s pretty clear.
While it would be interesting to use the warranty as a method to stop domestic resale for profit, the...
It seems like we have something similar in the US warranty as well:

Finally found it! Z1 Motorsports measures the stock flywheel weight in this video here:
Stock flywheel weight? A whopping 34.5 lbs!
Since I posted the above I've seen a number of reviewers mention rev hang. Most just shrugged it off, and I think only one or two mentioned a flywheel...
Holy....what the hell happened?! The engine bay is fine, so it didn't start there. And no signs of impact either. It almost looks like someone was smoking a cigarette while filling it with gas.
I wonder if the automated paint process and the delays that were written about recently are related to this at all. Maybe they're unsure how much of the orange they'll be able to make?
Yeah getting that level of buck and engagement on the automatic is impressive. In most launch clips you just see people spin through the first couple gears.
Just spoke with a local dealer. For those interested, apparently Nismo allocations are starting. No VIN's or delivery dates yet, but the dealer I spoke with already has an allocation (they can see it's white and automatic).
One of the guys at Nissan Motorsports put together a sample car with the available NISMO parts for the Z. The car also has some new parts not yet available at dealers like a new brake package. MSRP for the brake package was quoted to likely be around $5270 and they're trying to get it out by...
Anyone know what the stock flywheel weight is? Also any idea what the nismo one might be?
The old stock flywheel on the 370z was about 34 pounds: https://www.nissanpartsdeal.com/parts/nissan-flywheel-assy~12310-ey00a.html
The nismo flywheel for the new Z used to be up but now just shows an...
